Perry is your average teen, preparing for Prom. Gobi , his foreign exchange student is ugly, wears dowdy clothes and doesn’t talk a lot. All that changes on Prom night. Gobi gives herself a makeover whilst they are out and transforms into a butt kicking assassin on a mission. Perry is pulled into a world of murder, deception, pain and sacrifice. Ultimately, can he and his family survive Gobi’s vendetta?
This is a high action whirlwind of a book which I read extremely quickly as I couldn’t put it down. I was as horrified of Gobi’s actions as I was curious as to her motivation. The ending is unexpected and raised a smile. For a book which is under 300 pages it packs a lot of excitement, laughs, thrill and action.
