"What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?"
My response:
To date, there's only been one blog I've stopped following. When I follow blogs it's because we have something in common, a shared interest and similar tastes in books, or it may be that I'm entering a competition. If that's the case I only follow if I really do want to keep up with what the blog owner is doing or reviewing/reading...otherwise I won't enter.
I won't loose sleep over losing followers...I like to think that those who follow my blog do so because it inspires them to try a book they might not have otherwise read, and because they enjoy reading more on here. I've yet to branch out to do giveaways and competitions...whilst this is a great way to increase your follower numbers...I'd rather have people follow me because they want to, not because they need to...at least for the moment....besides, I haven't got my head around how to set giveaways up online yet lol.

I follow a lot of blogs because I think I will find some good titles from them, so I tend not to un-follow because I don't want to miss out on good titles. I really wish I had more time so I could comment on more blogs, but that's not happening right now. I think I would only be really worried about losing followers if I lost a lot all at once!

I'm always a little bummed when I lose followers but make every effort to
turn every lost follower into a learning experience so I can improve my
performance.
On the flip side, I only stop following people when they give me a reason to
such as being totally off message or being too controversial in an negative,
over-the-top way.
