The jacket on this represents a good visual description of what the book is based on.  WOW!! I was really blown away by the enticing world that I was drawn into.  It's beautifully descriptive...you'll need to fasten your seat belt to read this, get ready for a thriller of an opening chapter, which sets the bar for this high paced roller-coaster of a book.

I found it to be a completely absorbing read, the plot kept me constantly on my toes, every page on this book captivated me, either the description of something had me in awe or the plot gave another surprising twist, keeping the characters lively and giving the whole action packed story life.  The way in which the plot unfolds astonished me, and knocked me off my feet.  The characters are very believable, the story is both humorous in places, and unexpectedly gentle and touching.

As this was the first underwater/above water book I've come across, I wasn't sure what to expect,after reading it Kat Falls has steamrolled onto my top author list, and to be honest, before this title, I wouldn't have read much sci-fi.  Kat Falls has, for me, completely encompassed what a sci-fi book should have within it's pages.  I highly recommend this book, if you only read one book this year, this has got to be it - you really don't want to miss it!
